District VI is one of ten districts (two are inactive right now) that make up
the Babe Ruth Leagues of Virginia. The District provides coordination between
the state and national organizations and the local leagues and advises the
local league presidents on the operation of their programs. The District has
overall responsibility for the District Tournaments which are hosted by the
local leagues.
Currently there are four local leagues in District VI.
Falls Church/Annandale Babe Ruth, Greater Fairfax Babe Ruth
and Springfield Babe Ruth
provide baseball programs for ages 13 through 19 while
Pioneer Baseball and Softball
offers baseball programs for ages 5 through 15 and softball for ages 5 through 18.

The District VI staff consists of 2 people. Bob Gerber does most of the real
work of running the district. Steve Lebo helps out during tournament time and
